A server-authoritative MMORPG framework built entirely in Unreal Engine 5. The project handles the full complexity of modern multiplayer RPG architecture: networking, combat systems, character progression, and backend infrastructure. Combat logic runs on the Gameplay Ability System (GAS) with projectile systems, cooldown management, and mana consumption. Attribute sets drive primary and secondary stats with Gameplay Effects handling calculations like critical hit chance and armor penetration. Multiplayer replication is strictly server-authoritative, with Epic Online Services (EOS) providing identity management, session matchmaking, and persistent cloud storage. The gameplay loop delivers tactical exploration and character growth through a stylized lens, with dynamic UI for attribute allocation, a level-up system with immersive visual feedback, and unlockable abilities. A complete demonstration of building not just worlds, but the systems that power them.
